1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service apply to the use of learn.practicalportuguese.com, the online learning area operated under the name Practical Portuguese.

The Learning Area is intended for adults only.

By creating an account or using the Learning Area after being given access to these Terms, you agree to comply with them.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not create an account or use the Learning Area.

At present, the Learning Area is primarily provided as a supplementary learning resource for private students of Practical Portuguese.

5. Licence to use learning materials

Subject to these Terms, you are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to access and use the learning materials made available to your account for your own educational purposes.

Unless we explicitly give permission, you may not:

Private lessons booked through Preply are subject to Preply’s own terms, policies and arrangements.

The Learning Area is separate from the Preply platform.

These Terms govern your use of learn.practicalportuguese.com, but they do not replace Preply’s terms relating to:

• lesson bookings;
• subscriptions;
• cancellations;
• payments;
• refunds;
• communications made through Preply;
• other services provided directly through the Preply platform.

Access to the Learning Area may be provided as a supplementary resource connected with private lessons booked through Preply.

16. Personal data and privacy
